Treat your feet right

You're back on campus? Maybe your kids back are in school? Or it's just been a long day? ... either way, you must be beat this week. After a warm shower, why not treat yourself to a quick 7 minute at-home pedicure.

1) The first step to a flawless pedi is to remove your old nail polish. You probably don’t think twice about what nail polish remover you use, but it does make a difference to the health of your nails. Use a non-acetone based polish, because it is more gentle and won’t dry out nails.

2) Unless your toenails are really long, file nails, instead of clipping them. Filing allows for greater control of the length and the shape to give you a prettier pedi. File the edges of the nails at an angle for a softer shape.

3) Use a foot balm like Urban Sugarbaby's Feet Treat. This balm gives a warm sensation as it is massaged in and doesn't leave a greasy feel. Simply sweep dark brown eyeshadow along your lower lid. Top it off with two coats of masacara and VOILA! Apply a neutral shade of gloss. For your gloss to have an even and smooth appearance prep lips with a sheer lip balm. Whatever you do AVOID BLACK EYELINER especially if you're unfamiliar with this technique! Please be aware if done incorrectly you will look like Pepe Le'Pew the Skunk. But, we have faith in you ... you're a fox!
